Temporary lane closures on Burdick Expressway to start Thursday, September 16th

Minot, N.D. – A temporary lane closure will be in place on Burdick Expressway west of 8th Street SW starting Thursday, September 16. Traffic will be reduced to one lane heading West. The lane closure is expected to be in place through the end of the week. Businesses on Western Avenue can be accessed using 6th Street SW and 3rd Avenue SW. The driving public should use caution and pay attention as this work begins.

This work is part of Phase MI-4A of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) which started construction at the end of August. The purpose of MI-4A (Maple Diversion South Utility Relocations) is to relocate municipal utilities in advance of the flood protection features proposed as part of the Phase MI-4 Maple Diversion Project.
