Temporary lane closures on Burdick Expressway to start Thursday

Minot, N.D. – Temporary lane closures will be in place on Burdick Expressway west of 6th Street SW starting Wednesday, September 30th. Traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction. The lane closure is expected to be in place through October and November. The driving public should use caution and pay attention as this work begins.

This work is part of Phase MI-4A of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) which started construction at the end of August. The purpose of MI-4A (Maple Diversion South Utility Relocations) is to relocate municipal utilities in advance of the flood protection features proposed as part of the Phase MI-4 Maple Diversion Project.
