Temporary lane closures on Broadway and 4th Ave NW to open Friday

Minot, N.D. – The temporary lane closures on Broadway near the intersection of Fourth Avenue NW are set to be removed on the evening of Friday, August 20. Contractors finished their work on the roadway earlier in the week, and lanes have remained closed to allow for the curing of materials.

The work on Broadway is part of the Phase MI-1 Fourth Avenue enhanced flood protection project, which includes a six-block stretch of levees, floodwalls, a new sanitary lift station, and a major stormwater pump station from just west of Broadway to the east side of Third Street NE. Construction on this phase is scheduled to be complete in late 2021.
