Small Cities/Rural Communities Projects of the Year Awarded

The City of Minot's Public Works Director, Dan Jonasson and SRJB Member, Asst. Director, Jason Sorenson and Jason Westbrock, Barr Engineering were officially presented with the Project of the Year Award for Disaster/Emergency Projects from American Public Works Association. This project is a part of Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project for Phases 2 & Phase 3.

Leadership from the city and partnerships from so many different entities has brought additional flood protection to the City of Minot and continues on throughout the Souris Rive Basin. Recognition well deserved!
