MREFPP starting construction on Phase WC-1A Tierrecita Vallejo to start soon, public meeting planned

Minot, N.D. – A public information meeting for the WC-1A Tierrecita Vallejo Project of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) has been scheduled for Thursday, July 22, 2021. The public information meeting is sponsored by the City of Minot and the Souris River Joint Board and will include a formal presentation by project engineers. The meeting will serve as the kick-off of construction for this phase of the project and will provide information to neighborhood property owners and community members regarding the anticipated project schedule, traffic impacts and detour routes, and information about what the community can expect as the project progresses. The public meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Maysa Arena-Pepsi Rink, 2501 Burdick Expy W, Minot. The formal presentation will begin at 6:30pm.
