Curb construction to start Monday, August 2nd on Grace Street In Burlington relating to Phase BU-1B

Burlington, N.D. - The Souris River Joint Board and construction teams wanted to notify residents living on Grace Street of curb work that will be starting on Monday, August 2nd, 2021.

For residents of Grace Street this means you will want vehicles you need to utilize be parked on the street and out of your garages and driveways. Once construction starts you will not have access to driving over your curbs for 5-7 days.

As a part of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Plan a new storm sewer was installed beneath Grace Street. The existing curb & gutter and pavement needed to be removed and replaced in order to do this work. Phase BU-1B began last year and is scheduled to be completed September 2021.
