Temporary closure of southbound Broadway lanes to start today

Minot, N.D. – Contractors will be temporarily closing the southbound right turn lane and right driving lane of North Broadway near the intersection of 4th Ave NW at approximately 10:00 a.m. today. One southbound driving lane will remain open throughout the closure. The lane closure is expected to last two weeks.

The work on Broadway is part of the Phase MI-1 Fourth Avenue enhanced flood protection project which includes a six block stretch of levees, floodwalls, a new sanitary lift station, and a major storm water pump station from just west of Broadway to the east side of Third Street NE. Construction on this phase is scheduled to be complete in late 2020.
