Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project Phase BU-1A Burlington Colton Avenue Bridge Replacemen

Burlington, N.D. – As the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project continues and weather cooperates, Swingen Construction will wrap up work on Phase BU-1A Burlington Colton Avenue Bridge over the next few weeks.

Remaining projects include site cleanup, minor finish work, and final touches to the barrier rail of the bridge along with reapplication of penetrating water repellent. Some of the remaining work will create roadway impacts on the Colton Avenue Bridge, narrowing traffic to one lane. Flaggers will be present when conditions require one lane traffic.

Please continue to be vigilant within the construction zone to ensure safety of residents and workers. The project is expected to be fully complete in 3 weeks.
