Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project BU-1 Burlington Phase Meeting Scheduled

Burlington, N.D. – A public information meeting for the BU-1 City of Burlington phase of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP) has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 11. The public information meeting is sponsored by the City of Burlington and the Souris River Joint Water Board and will include an open house and a formal presentation by project engineers. The presentation will provide information to neighborhood property owners and community members about the current design work taking place, the anticipated project schedule, and what the community can expect as the project progresses.

The public meeting will be held in the gymnasium of the Burlington Des-Lacs Elementary School, 301 Wallace St S, Burlington. The open house is scheduled from 6:30pm – 7:00pm and the formal presentation will begin at 7:00pm.
